About the event
This June 15th is my 52 Birthday and through a turn of events I find myself with an empty spot in my calendar and wide open space and no plans.
So what am I going to do?
Am I gonna sit here on my birthday worrying my aging body and dwindling bank balance, distracting my self with social media – inadvertently reinforcing the narrative that life is ‘average’ and effectively meaningless?
F*>k No! I’m gonna celebrate.
Because at 52 I’ve learned a thing or two, and I know now that if we lived every day like it was our birthday, meaning if we lived like every day was as precious as a new born baby, the amount of suffering in the world, the violence currently being inflicted upon the planet, the children and the vulnerable would be, well, utterly inconceivable.
